For a game to be on this list, it must have a lot of multiplayer parts. There will be no points for games like Metroid Prime 2 that just have multiplayer modes. Among friends, these are the games you’d play. Which are the best? What could you play today and still enjoy yourself?
Super Monkey Ball
Super Monkey Ball is a game made by Sega. It’s a platform game that you can play with friends and family. This game was first released on the Dreamcast. It was then rereleased on the GameCube after Sega’s platform didn’t work out. In this video game, there are a lot of party games and mini-games that you can play with your friends.
This game was a big hit and even one of the best of the GameCube’s first games. Make sure to bring some friends and have some fun! Super Monkey Ball can be played by up to four people.
Pokémon Colosseum
Pokémon is still a popular animated series and a popular game series. When you play Pokemon Colosseum, you can become a trainer and fight against your friends. The newer Pokémon that fans know and love won’t be in this game, but it’s still a good way to see some of the old ones that people used to like.
Super Mario Strikers
Mario is, of course, one of the most popular video game franchises of all time. A lot of games have been made based on the Mario Party, Paper Mario, and other games in the Mario franchise There are a lot of people who like these games. Super Mario Strikers is no exception.
In this game, two teams of five people each try to score goals on the soccer field. If a player makes a lot of perfect shots and passes, they will be able to “superstrike,” which can earn them two points if they do it well enough.
Gauntlet Dark Legacy (2002)
At number 19, Gauntlet Dark Legacy is the best hack and slash game I’ve ever played, ever.
The couch co-op multiplayer that I played with my friends up in my attic was one of the best times of my life. We played skeletons, demons, evil genies, and many other things.
It’s a good thing I played this game, because I will always call food “sustenance.”
When you played a game with the same friends, your characters would get better and look different as you got better at it, which was always a lot of fun. It gave us another reason to come back and play again and again.
With unlockable characters, secrets to find on every level, and more cretins to fight back than on Black Friday TV, this game is great for multiplayer nights with pizza and beer.
Star Fox Assault (2005)
The game Star Fox Assault is one of those that I didn’t play when I was younger. I only found out about it later on in life, but I still enjoy it. It’s true, though, that I’ve made up for lost time in the last few years.
Even though LylatWars was a big hit, the game is still a lot of fun.
The game lets you fight Aparoids in the sky above Dinosaur Planet. You can even get out of your ships and fight on the ground.
I like Star Fox and Star Fox Adventures, which happen to be two of my favourite games of all time. This game is a mix of both. The winner won.
Just look at the pictures above. I don’t care if Andross’ army is preparing to attack. I’d rather just stay in that Mayan temple-style place down there for a while and wait for everything to calm down before I go back home.
Medal of Honor: European Assault (2005)
As soon as a new Medal of Honor game came out, everyone at school was absent. This didn’t happen with Medal of Honor: European Assault, either.
We go to Europe in 1942 for this game’s title. In this game, you have to get past the enemy lines and kill Nazis. You also have to get and destroy certain pieces of information.
Despite how good the story is, we’re only interested in one thing right now, and that’s the multiplayer.
Make your friends fight each other with old weapons that look like they’re from another time (well, I guess they are).
As for real war zones, I’m not sure they use as many blocks and boxes in the open spaces as the MOH series does, though.
You can prove me wrong if you’re in the army.
Sonic Adventure 2 Battle (2001)
Among GameCube games, Sonic Adventure 2 Battle had some of the best multiplayer games and mini-games of any.
Fast-paced fun was what made the hours go by, whether we played in the Chao Garden or raced each other through the main level courses.
With Shadow Vs Sonic on death-defying rail tracks, Knuckles and Rouge on a treasure hunt, or Tails and Robotnik in a fight, this game had something for everyone!

The Chao garden was also a lot of fun to play with and compete in races and competitions with, as well as play games with Chaos. It’s really the game that keeps giving.
This game had a legendary single player mode, too. My friends and I scratched this game to death because we kept slotting in and out of the disc tray to play multiplayer.
To keep the fun going, I bought another copy.
Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour (2003)
In this list of the best multiplayer games for the GameCube, Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour comes in at number 15. It’s a simple golf game with wacky courses that really bring the Mushroom Kingdom to life.
Wind speed and typical features of a golf course, like bunkers and rough, should be taken into account when you choose your favourite character and swing.
Lakes, steep cliffs, chain chomps, piranha plants, and all that other stuff, of course.
To win this game, you must be able to time yourself so that you can hit that all-important “super shot.” If you’re really clever, you can also use top spin or backspin to change the way your shots go, but that’s a lot of complicated stuff!
This game is still fun for me to play, and the graphics still surprise me.
In terms of looks, Toadstool Tour isn’t the most cutting-edge game out there. However, it has really stood the test of time and still looks great, even on TVs that are today.
Pikmin 2 (2004)
To make our list of the best multiplayer games for the GameCube, Pikmin 2 comes out of the woods. It comes in at number 14!
The first Pikmin game was a big deal. Some people thought it was a fantasy nerd’s dream. The sequel, on the other hand, got rid of some of the things that were annoying, like the time-based countdown gameplay. This made the game a lot more fun.
It also had a multiplayer mode added to it.
This time, Captain Olimar and his assistant Louie are there to help. Players can now use different coloured Pikmin to get marbles or steal them from each other.
In order to win, you need to use all the dirty plant-based tricks in the book. You can take an army of red or blue Pikmin and go up against your opponent.
A game on the GameCube that has a lot of people playing together might not be the most high-octane one. But man, is it addictive! Capture the flag games (or marble games, in this case) have never looked so good.
