The best racing games for the Dreamcast have been put together in one place for you. We’re going through the games we own to show you the best driving games that ever came out on Sega’s last console, and we’re going to rank them from best to worst.

Most people don’t know much about the Dreamcast, but it has a lot of great games.

So it had 624 instead of 3,800. But when it comes to gameplay, the Dreamcast is all about “quality over quantity.”

Many of the best racing games were found on Sega’s last console, including sequels to games that took the world by storm.

Games looked great and the controller looked like it came from the future, so gamers had fun driving around in their favourite cars.

Crazy Taxi 2 (2001)

Crazy Taxi 2 (2001)

The game may have been spoiled by this, but don’t keep scrolling down and ruining the surprise!

Crazy Taxi 2 was a great game and a great follow-up to a game that everyone loved. It tried to beat the first Crazy Taxi game with new and exciting features, but for me, there isn’t enough to make it better than the first one.

You can’t be perfect, after all!

There are new features for gamers who loved the first game but didn’t have time to play the sequel. These new features include picking up more passengers to get more fares at once and new levels set in the Big Apple.

When you got to your destination, the clock went back to the way it was before you left. Look out for ramps! Jumping over important parts of the scenery and landmarks can speed things up, so keep an eye out for them!

A few extra features make it even better than Crazy Taxi. It was always going to be on this list. It’s not bad if you like the first one.

Test Drive V-Rally (2000)

When I was younger, I used to play Test Drive V-Rally every Saturday when I went to the Bowling Alley with my friends. It is one of the best arcade games of all time.

You drive a rally car through 80 beautiful levels in this game. You skid and speed and bounce. You crash and smash your way through this game.

It’s also a metal fan’s dream, with great tracks that make your heart race as you race to the finish line.

If you play a lot of racing games, there’s a championship mode where you compete against other people. Even so, the arcade mode is where I’m at. It brings back memories of bowling alley races I used to play with my friends.

If you want to learn how to drive a rally car, Test Drive V-Rally is the best way to do it. Players have to change their style a little if it’s snowing at night or it’s windy on gravel. Cars perform differently on different terrains and in different weather conditions, so players have to change their style a little.

Let me tell you, this might not be my favourite racing game for the Dreamcast, but it’s still one of the best out there. If you want a game that makes you feel like you’re driving a real rally car, look no further!

If you don’t, I’ll have done all this work for nothing!

South Park Rally (2000)

South Park Rally (2000)

It’s not that I don’t like you, but I don’t like you either. The best Dreamcast racing games of all time are here, and South Park Rally is at the top of the list.

Describe South Park Rally to someone who has never played it before in a way that makes sense. Well, think of an X-rated Mario Kart, and you’re probably 90% of the way there.

Loved South Park as a child. One of my favourite things about this game is that it has all the same voices as the TV show. You can feel like you’ve jumped into your TV screen and landed on a racetrack with Cartman and the rest of the crew when you play this game.

Players can play as Eric, Kenny, Stan, Kyle, and other characters from the cartoon Cartman. They can also play as other characters from the show.

If you spell “Kartman” wrong, you won’t find any karts in this game (unless you play it). The characters race in everything from trikes to jeeps, through snow and around well-known places from the show.

Then, of course, there’s also a multiplayer mode that’s going to be really fun.

In South Park Rally, you can compete with up to four friends for the title of the best racer. That’s a whole different type of rallying than V-Rally, the game above.

Quote the show to your heart’s content, but always follow my rules!

Eighteen Wheeler: American Pro Trucker (2000)

Eighteen Wheeler: American Pro Trucker, a hell-raising racer, crashed into 12th place. It makes any movie car chase look like the school run.

In the US, I can’t get enough of big American trucks. They look so much cooler than the lorries in the UK, but I wouldn’t want to see one swerve into my lane like the one in the picture.

Crazy Taxi with big-ass trucks would be a good idea. If you don’t reach an end zone with your goods intact, the game is over.

But, of course, it’s not that simple.

From the very first race, Lizard Tail wants to kick your tail. The world might burn down for some people. If you can beat ‘ol Lizard-features, you get even more money!

Stick it to him.

There is a different truck for each playable character with a different set of stats for it. Watch out for people who hit you because you’ll get money taken out of your pay packet if they do.

F-1 World Grand Prix (1999)

F-1 World Grand Prix (1999)

In our list of the best racing games for the Dreamcast, F1 World Grand Prix comes in at number 11. When I was a child, my father was a huge fan of this game.

If he were blindfolded, I think he could have done those courses in real life. Then, he could drive.

When he played this game after a long shift as a chef, it made a lot of noise. In the end, I had to buy him headphones every birthday for the next 6 years, because he kept breaking them.

A game called F1 World Grand Prix is one of the most realistic F1 games on the Dreamcast. There are a lot of ways to see what’s going on inside and outside your F1 car as you drive around some of the world’s most famous tracks.

The branding, names, cars, and tracks are all real, giving players an experience that’s as close to the real thing as many of us will get.

Let’s not forget about the Gold and Silver racers that you can get. Those people had the need for speed.

Game play: Fans of F1 who are especially in love with the 1997 series should have a great time with this game! You can still enjoy it today because it’s a piece of racing history that’s still fun to play.

Crazy Taxi

It was originally an arcade game that was ported to the Sega Dreamcast. Crazy Taxi is a game that blends the high-speed driving of Grand Theft Auto with exciting delivery missions to make one of the most exciting games ever made. The game itself is very simple. Players must get passengers to their destinations as quickly as possible to earn money. The player can also get tips from their passenger if they do crazy things on the way.

Even though the game looks simple, Crazy Taxi adds a lot of fun to it with great driving controls and fun mini games. This makes this game one of the most replayable on the console. If you want to play a game quickly, Crazy Taxi is a great choice.

Hydro Thunder

Hydro Thunder

This is what it would look like if someone mixed Wave Race with cool, futuristic speed boats, like these. If that sounds like fun to you, then Hydro Thunder is the game for you. It’s a game where people drive some of the fastest speed boats in the world through crazy, wacky landscapes for some high-speed racing.

The player can choose from thirteen different boats and thirteen different tracks. These tracks and boats are very different, which is a good challenge for people who want to try new things. A lot of people have said this game is one of the best racing games ever made.
