best bar games

Do you want to add something fun to your bar? Buying bar games for your business can be a great way to give your customers something fun and different to do.

You don’t have to buy a big, expensive game like billiards or skeeball right away. Smaller games like Jenga or board games can have a big impact on your bar’s marketing plan. If you have enough room, you might be able to fill a whole room with games or host game nights and competitions.

Billiards, also called “pool,” is a classic bar game that gets people up and talking, and maybe even a little bit competitive. Pool tables cost a lot of money and take up a lot of space, but they can really make your bar look cool. You can put coins in your pool tables or charge by the hour.

Dice Games

You can give your customers hours of fun with just a few dice and some cups. Dice are very inexpensive and can be used to play a huge number of games. You can give players a head start by putting the rules for a few of the most popular games on simple cards.

Air Hockey

Air Hockey

Since the 1970s, air hockey has been a popular game that people all over the United States love. This one also costs money and can take up a lot of space, but if it’s the kind of game your customers like to play, it could be well worth it.

Table shuffleboard is a great bar game that was first played in the pubs of England in the 1500s. Table shuffleboard eventually made its way to the U.S. and gained popularity during the early 20th century, reaching its peak back in the 1940’s. Table shuffleboard has recently become popular again in dive bars, brew pubs, and game rooms all over the country.

Most people play “Knock Off,” where you slide pucks down the table into scoring zones and/or try to knock off your opponent’s pucks. Most tables have three scoring areas, and a “hanger” at the end of the table is worth 4 points.

Pin Bowling

Pin Bowling

The 1960s were the best time for 10-pin bowling, but even though those days are over, millions of Americans still play the game every year. Even now, new lanes are opening in bars, restaurants, and small venues all over the country. There are other versions of bowling, including duckpin, nine-pin and candlestick, but ten-pin bowling is the linchpin.

The basics are that there are 10 frames of bowling, strikes are worth 10 points (plus the total number of points earned on the bowler’s next two rolls), and you get to wear those shoes. One of the best parts is that.

Joseph Fourester Simpson came up with the game of Skee-Ball in 1908. It is now a popular game in bars. It was a very popular game in arcades and amusement parks in the 1970s and 1980s, and now it’s making a comeback as a trendy bar game for millennials.

Skee-ball is played over 12 frames and one mystery round that is worth 100 bonus points. Each frame gives you nine rolls. It’s a lot of fun in bars, but it would also be a great addition to any home game room.

Ring Toss

Ring Toss

Since the 1100s, hook and ring games have been played in bars and pubs.

There are many ways to set up a game of ring toss, such as the island-style Bimini Ring and the Australian version of the game called Hookey.

You can also play a version of the game where you just throw the ring around a peg that is stuck in the ground. It’s a simple idea that will always be true. The one that’s played in a pub is our favourite.

Pop-A-Shot is a shooting game with a basketball that might be one of the best one-on-one bar games ever made. You can find it in bars, arcades, and places where people go to have fun. You’ve got 40 seconds to make as many baskets as you can. You win if you score more points than your opponent.

Pop-A-Shot was invented by Ken Cochran, a long time college basketball coach, in 1981. And the original Pop-A-Shot company in Salina, Kansas, still makes the game.

This is one of my favourite games to play at the bar when I want to do something physical and fun. And lots of sports bars, like this one in Los Angeles, show this game.

Axe Throwing

Axe Throwing

Axe throwing has been used as a way to fight and compete since the Stone Age. And now, in its modern form, the sport of axe throwing is very popular in North America, especially among younger people, at places where you can only throw axes and indoor entertainment centres. It’s a fun thing to do as a group for both business and personal events.

Air Hockey

Air hockey was made by a group of engineers at Brunswick Billiards. It became popular with a large number of people in the late 1970s and early 1980s. Still, this game is fun to play at home or in bars. A standard air hockey table is 8 feet long, by the book. This is great for hours of competitions between two people. Grab your mallets and play a quick game of 7!

Bubble Hockey

Bubble Hockey

Bubble hockey, also called dome hockey, could be a fun game to play in a bar, either as a stand-alone game or in addition to classic games like darts and foosball.

Bubble hockey is a game where you control players who slide and turn to hit the puck on a small hockey rink.

Bubble hockey is still made and sold by Super Chexx, the company that made it first. On their site, you can find out more about the game.

Sam Stern made pinball in the early 1930s. It is one of the best arcade and bar games. Pinball is still a favourite of people who like old games, and many bars have both old machines and newer, more high-tech versions of some of the classics.

Use it: Star Wars Pinball, Ghostbusters Pinball, and newer games like Game of Thrones Pinball and Deadpool Pinball are some of the most popular pinball games.

But The Adams Family, which came out in 1991, is still the most popular pinball game. It is also at the top of our list of the best pinball machines.

You can find a machine near you by looking at the “Pinball Map.”
