11 Best Character Creation Games That You Should Know Update 04/2024

best character creation games

Are you looking to get into a game by making that perfect character? Then, let’s look at some of my favorite games that let you make your character unique and play well.

1. Elder Scrolls Online

Elder Scrolls Online

ESO is the only MMORPG I’m going to put on this list. I think ESO is the best at character creation and immersion in MMOs, and even though I’m a big fan of WOW, I think ESO is the best at it. The level of customization you can do for your character is more than most MMOs, and playing as each of the different races really makes you feel like you’re unique in playstyle and appearance.

2. Cyber Punk 2077

You can say almost anything bad about a game, and it’s likely that Cyber Punk 2077 would be the subject of some of it at some point in its short life. All of the game’s problems and problems in the past aside, one thing it does well is let you make a cool-looking character. In Cyper Punk, there are enough ways to make your character unique to last a long time. As you build up your character, you can use all kinds of abilities that aren’t real. You can also make your character look completely unique by giving them physical traits that aren’t real. Then, if the game doesn’t crash on you at all.

3. Fallout 4

Fallout 4

Fallout 4 is a game that everyone agrees has the best graphics and character creation of any Bethesda Software game to date. There are a lot of different ways you can make your character. You can make it as realistic or as crazy as you want. While there are a lot of ideas to start with, there is also a good face-sculpting feature that is well done and lets even the most picky players go to town. What are you waiting for? You should play this game right now. It’s time to make that slob!

4. Greed Fall

Greed Fall is one of the most underappreciated indie RPGs out there, and it has a lot of elegant visuals. This includes the tool you use to make your character. There aren’t a lot of options for changing your character’s facial structure, but the UI and layout of each section are well-designed. You can also make a very unique-looking character, even though there are some restrictions on how you can make changes to the game. This really helps the player get into a world that they don’t know very well, because it’s an indie game.

5. Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen

Dragons Dogma Dark Arisen

From a nostalgic standpoint, Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen is the best game for making characters. As I said before, that may be because I get a strong sense of nostalgia and happiness from playing the game, which makes me want to play more. However, the game has a lot of great facial, vocal, and physical customization options. Weird: You could do crazy things with it, or you could make a warrior or a scholar that everyone else wants to be like. There is one caveat, though: You won’t be limited to making just one character, because Dragon’s Dogma lets you make a follower that looks and acts just like your own first character. This is a great fantasy game that lets you fully immerse yourself in it with a great story and a lot of fun.

6. Dragon Age Inquisition

Dragon Age: Inquisition is another game that lets you choose from four races: humans, elves, dwarves, and Qunari. You can also choose how your face looks. You can spend as much time as you want making your character in Inquisition. This is another fantasy game that lets you do as much work as you want. You can go all out with it, or you can just make your own version of an elf. This is another game where you can spend hours making your character. If that is what you want to do, then this game will let you do that.

7. Code Vein

Code Vein

Dark Souls-inspired anime vampire game has a lot to offer. One of those things is one of the best character creation systems for anime characters, which is one of the best things about this game. You can make an anime vampire with Code Vein’s character creation tool. You can also add unique blemishes, tattoos (face paint), or other features that make your character stand out. In Code Vein, the gameplay is strong and the story is interesting, so it will be hard for you not to get lost in the world.

8. Monster Hunter World

People who play Monster Hunter World can make their own characters with a system that will make them give up some of the best-looking helmets so they can show off their perfectly sculpted faces. Monster Hunter World has one of the best and most detailed character creation systems to date. You have so many options when it comes to how you look and act as a hunter. When you make your character, it doesn’t just apply to you. In Dragon’s Dogma, you can also make your NPC follower. Unlike in Dragon’s Dogma, your follower is a cute little cat guy, and making those fluffy things is almost as much fun as making your own character. You should keep in mind that this character and your friend are going to fight some of the most dangerous creatures you’ve ever seen.

9. Black Desert Online

Black Desert Online

Platforms: Windows, PS4, Xbox One

Black Desert Online has one of the most in-depth character creation tools. You can even make small changes to your character’s hairstyle length and add highlights to their hair.

Things get even more complicated when we move on to the body, with options like limb proportions, face sculpting, and small changes to eye and nose shape.

You can add this to BDO’s beautiful graphics and you’re likely to end up with a character that looks great and is ready to take on any challenge.

10. Bloodborne

Platform: PS4

Even though it doesn’t have the most appealing character creator, Bloodborne makes up for it with a lot of options for facial and body parts that are very interesting.

This lets you quickly make avatars that look bold and scary, which is a good fit for the dark fantasy setting of Bloodborne.

As with Dark Souls, the Similar Face option lets you make new faces based on the game’s premade faces and your own. This lets you make new faces based on your own creations as well as those from the game.

11. Soulcalibur VI

Soulcalibur VI

Platforms: Windows, PS4, Xbox One

Because Soulcalibur VI’s character creator is so good, it makes some of the funniest fighters of all time, but it’s even better than it should be.

The game’s open-ended accessory and clothing systems are what make it so good. Players can mix and match different items and get very specific about where and how they fit on their character’s body.

This allows for some very realistic recreations of well-known characters as well as some terrifying ones from all over pop culture.
