The current gaming industry is moving more and more toward online play, and this trend is going to keep going.
But old-school gamers like us know that it’s hard to beat the fun of playing with your friends on the couch.
There’s something magical about having your friends laugh with you or see their veins pop after a good Mortal Kombat beating.
The Xbox One has a lot of good local co-op games, even though most of the new games are played over the internet.
There are a lot of things to look for and read carefully when you’re shopping at the Microsoft Store. or I can do it for you.
Call up your friends, order pizza, and stock up on beer and soda because these are the best Xbox One games for playing with your friends.
1. Minecraft Dungeons (2020)
If you like the blocky art style and creativity of Minecraft but don’t like how open-ended the game is, try Minecraft Dungeons.

During the main campaign, four adventurers can work together as a team to get through it together.
A lot of people say it’s not the most complex game out there, but its procedurally generated dungeons and flexible class system keep it interesting for a long time.
2. Dungeon Defenders 2 (2017)
Dungeon Defenders is a great action RPG with a lot of Tower Defense elements that make it different from other games.
DD2 has you fight wave after wave of enemies with a mix of active abilities and turrets that protect an area.
It has a lot of different characters with unique abilities and towers they can summon.
Game types like a Squire and a Monk are among them. But there are also more unique choices like a Gunwitch or a Lavamancer, which aren’t game types at all but are more interesting.
3. Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes (2018)
There are times when it is hard to explain how a programme works over the phone. It’s almost impossible!
If you had to explain how to defuse a bomb instead of Photoshop or Microsoft Excel, that would be a lot harder.
So that’s the whole point of “Keep Talking and Nobody Explodes,” right?
When you play this game, you have to deactivate a timed explosive while your friends try to figure out how.
It will put your patience and communication skills to the test, but it will also put you and your friends through a lot of stress.

6. Cuphead (2017)
Getting help from a friend isn’t a bad idea, but Cuphead can be hard to deal with.

7. Minecraft: Xbox One Edition
Minecraft is a game that keeps giving you more.

This is a great co-op game that’s fun to play with friends and family. There are a lot of hidden minigames along the way and the game looks great.
9. Overcooked & Overcooked 2
Overcooked is a very difficult cooking game. What if you had a game like Cooking Mama, but with a much higher level of difficulty, partners yelling expletives at each other, and a mad dash to finish all the dishes? Everyone in the room is going to have a good time, and they’re going to laugh, yell, and curse. Add-on: The second game has more recipes to make, dynamic stages that change as you’re cooking, and a way to throw items to your friends. You can play with your friends online with the Xbox One version of this game, so the fun doesn’t have to stop when they leave.
The first game is over. There’s Overcooked 2, which comes with even more great levels and cooking challenges to keep you and your friends laughing until the wee hours.
