Acting like you don’t have to do everything yourself is a new thing that takes some getting used to, but the results are worth it!

A lot of the people who worked on PlatinumGames before they became a company were part of Capcom’s Clover Studio, which made some of the most outlandish and memorable PS2 games. Their third game, God Hand, is a character action game classic.

Take control of Gene, who is in charge of the God Hand, which gives him the power to whack demons all day long. When all the demons are out to get him, it’s a good thing that he’s still alive.

Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2

Both Bayonettas are so similar that it’s hard to pick one over the other, so both of them get the 7 and 6 spots at the same time. This game is very good at being an action game. It’s hard, it’s fun, and it’s stylish as hell, but most importantly, it rewards a good mix of offence and defence. People who play a lot of action games don’t usually get a reward for having good defence. Instead, they don’t get hurt and may get a chance to fight back, too. But in Bayonetta, every time you make a perfect dodge, you start Witch Time, which lets you do a lot more damage because the action is slowed down. There is a lot of action, but it also has a lot of that cool feeling you get when you get away from a big attack.
