10 Tan Anime Characters That You Should Know Update 04/2024

Tan Anime Characters

My 10 favorite dark-skinned characters are the focus of this week’s blog, which I’m writing in collaboration with KanadeSong. In my case, I’m going to concentrate on women. On the surface, dark-skinned characters are my favorite because of their rarity, their exotic appearance in contrast to most anime, and their high level of energy. I didn’t forget anyone, this is just my view and preference.

10. Zazie Rainday

Zazie Rainday

In the manga, Zazie is a ferocious character that is rarely seen in the anime. Her circus design and acrobatic skills are awe-inspiring to me. Zazie is one of the strongest characters in the series, even if you don’t know anything about the plot. I knew she was the best girl the moment I saw her.

9. Kaolla Su

Shortly put, loving Hina was a disaster. Kaolla Su made it bearable for as long as I sat through it, but it still hurt my spirit. In spite of her role as a primary source of male abuse, I can’t help but compare her to an irritating monkey who spends her days eating bananas. She’s motivated to go to college like no one else I’ve ever met. When it comes to Kaolla Su, “older” and “younger” are two different things.

8. Tier Harribel

Tier Harribel

Sharks and Halibel are both cool. I’m not sure what to say other than that she was my arrancar because of her calm serenity. Harribel also demonstrated impressive combat abilities, which piqued my interest. Having water as a preferred element also helped. With the exception of Grimmjow, her design was the sleekest and baddest.

7. Lulu Bell

The fact that she’s dark-skinned doesn’t change the fact that she’s gray or blue. When it comes to Noahs, Lulu and Road are the butter and the Noahs are the bread. Lulu is classy and reserved most of the time, but she can be a jerk when she wants to be. She shows a softer side to Akuma and is exceptionally compassionate to him.

6. Alex Benedetto

Alex Benedetto

That a former prostitute could create such a compelling character while avoiding overt appeals to the audience piqued my interest. As her psychological suffering progressed, I became aware of it. Overall, Alex was a very believable anime character.

5. Choi Mochimazzi

There is only one Choi. She made this list because of all the hilarious YouTube videos she’s seen. She’s a foreigner who stumbles in Japanese, mocks a bird, and does other such things in comic fashion. Choi is a lovable character who’s impossible to hate once you get to know him.

4. Lala Gonzalez

Lala Gonzalez

He was a Lucha Libre expert and a hard-charging Mexican transfer student. Among the male high schoolers, like McKenzie and Harima, who seemed to have it all under control, Lala stood out as the dominant female figure. This is a light-hearted comedy. It’s a shame one of the funniest characters didn’t get more screen time, but Lala is merely a supporting player.

3. Aisha Clan-Clan

Fan service of the highest order, I say. But I’m a liar when I say that I dislike it. That’s all Aisha was used for. A noble feline-humanoid-extraterrestrial hybrid, she is. Her charm comes from the fact that she is an old-fashioned stereotype (other than being a neko).

2. Black Rose

In the beginning, I had a crush on video games. Including a character mostly associated with video games on this list may be considered plagiarism, however a manga and shaggy anime were produced. I prefer tan characters because of Black Rose. Among other things, she was fun to watch, had a great design, and was truly useful. That’s not something I’m going to stand up for. As soon as she wasn’t on the screen, I shamelessly skipped over and added her to my party in the game. Aside from being the “token female number two,” she has nothing else to offer. My personal fave is Black Rose. Unless, of course, there’s a third!

1. Kuro/Chloe Von Einzbern

Capture

This is one of my all-time fave lolis. It’s hard to watch or read the manga without Chloe as a driving force. It went from 0 to 100 far too quickly. Chloe was born out of Grail-related complications that are too hard to explain. Her lewdness is the most appealing aspect of her persona to me. Every scenario, from sneaking kisses to tease Illya, has me in tears (role taken by Irisviel). It doesn’t matter that she looks like a 25-year-old guy since she needs it for “mana.” I like Chloe’s fighting style and Archer’s costume design.
