10 Fire Anime Characters That You Should Know Update 03/2024

Fire Anime Characters

The awesomeness of fire powers has been amply demonstrated in anime. Which anime characters have the most skill with fire and are the greatest at it?

There is nothing like the combination of anime and superpowers, and fans never seem to grow tired of it. Whether it’s through Quirks, Stands, or Devil Fruits, the ways in which these powers develop are always distinct; nonetheless, one power that frequently appears and is always potent is the ability to control fire.. Powers of this nature are often extremely stunning and striking.

Many characters have this ability and use it in novel ways that make them stand out from the crowd. Do you know any good anime characters with fire powers?

1. Natsu Dragneel: Fairy Tail

Natsu Dragneel

Not only is Natsu Dragneel the star of Fairy Tail, but he also has an unusually tight bond with the fire element. Dragon Slayer magic is used by Natsu, unlike other fire magicians in these novels, Thus, he is able to refill his own stores by consuming the element of his choice.

Magic and martial arts are two of Natsu’s favorite ways to use it, and he often employs both at the same time in order to recreate dragon parts. When it comes to using fire in a story, Natsu’s is one of the best.

2. Roy Mustang: Fullmetal Alchemist

Roy Mustang, although being one of the most powerful State Alchemists in Fullmetal Alchemist, is a bit of a one-trick pony when it comes to his abilities. Flame-alchemy (with a grim past) is sewn into the Pyrotex gloves of this “Hero” of the Ishval Civil War, allowing him to conjure flames with a simple snap.

Even though it may appear as though Roy utilizes the same tactic of attack every time, he like to use both his left and right hands for a variety of techniques. Furthermore, due to the high degree of precision that this crazily researched Alchemy provides, Roy is able to precisely target his adversaries while avoiding harming any of his allies.

3. Enji “Endeavor” Todoroki: My Hero Academia

Enji 'Endeavor' Todoroki

Even if Endeavor is a poor husband and father, the Pro-Hero he is is undeniably powerful. Endeavor is officially My Hero Academia’s #1 top hero, and that comes with a lot of swagger. Hellflame, a Quirk of this guy’s, gives him a lot of firepower.

Endeavor’s Quirk allows him to make and manage enormous volumes of flame, even making him immune to flames in the process of doing so. Thus, Endeavor is the most challenging character to cosplay because of his fiery beard and his overall appearance as a fire user. Endeavor receives the top medal for this category.

4. Portgas D. Ace & Sabo: One Piece

A spoiler coming for One Piece, but it has been running for more than a decade, so there’s really no excuse for missing out on this classic manga. Since the Mera Mera No Mi or Flame Flame Devil Fruit is used by both characters, technically this entry is about two persons.

Users are Monkey D. Luffy’s big brothers, Portgas D. Ace and Sabo of the Revolutionary Army. After Ace’s terrible death, Sabo has taken up the mantle and uses this Devil Fruit. A Logia-type Devil Fruit, the Mera Mera No Mi transforms its user into flame. Immune to conventional injury, it creates what appears to be an almost limitless supply of fire.

5. Rin Okumura: Blue Exorcist

Rin Okumura (Blue Exorcist)

Having inherited his father’s unusual blue flames, Rin Okumura has become a target for both Demons and Knights. In spite of the fact that he rarely uses these flames in battle, they are still part of him and may be used at his command.

Sometime when Rin is enraged or when he has his sword drawn they just come out of their shells unintentionally. However, there have been times when Rin has combined the force of his flames with the sword he wields, resulting in deadly results.

6. Mereoleona Vermillion: Black Clover

Mereoleona is the Magic Knights’ greatest lioness, the series’ strongest female, and the temporary leader of the Crimson Lions. She appears combative at first and has a short temper, yet that hostility is usually a disguise for her genuinely empathetic and understanding character.

Fire power from her Grimoire, along with Mereoleona’s martial arts mastery and well-trained muscles, allow her to easily dispatch her opponent. So far in Black Clover, she hasn’t been shown fighting a ridiculous amount, but the fights she has had have been breathtaking (such as her battle against Rhya).

7. Hiei: Yu Yu Hakusho

Hiei- Yu Yu Hakusho

In the Yu Yu Hakusho classic series, Hiei of the Evil Eye is a central character and one of the most intriguing members of the ensemble. This character is often compared to Vegeta, and while that comparison is accurate, Hiei is more complex.

Fire Demon youngster Hiei received a Jagan eye through complicated surgical procedures that gave him new abilities but diminished those he had before to the procedure. As a Fire Demon, Hiei lives up to his name with his most devastating attacks relying on some kind of flame. Hiei can wield fire in a variety of ways, including the Dragon of the Darkness Flame, the Fist of the Mortal Flame, and the Sword of the Darkness Flame.

8. Shinra Kusakabe: Fire Force

Shinra Kusakabe, despite his maniacal command of his abilities, initially refused to use them. When Shinra’s brother Sho became aware of his own abilities, he compelled Shinra to use the Ignition Ability, which he did, saving Shinra’s life in the process. To fly, Shinra employs his special abilities, known as the Devil’s Footprints, which allow him to shoot flames from his feet.

Fire-users that can fly and fight with their flames are rare, but Shinra is one of the few exceptions. He may compress his flames, explode them, or use them to boost the inertia of his kicks with incredible force. It’s one of the most impressive abilities in the entire series. Also, the fighting style of Shinra is aesthetically attractive.

9. Muhammad Avdol: JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure – Stardust Crusaders

Muhammad Avdol - JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

Avdol from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure isn’t really a fire user, but he does command a Stand that has fire-control capabilities. As one of the first Stands seen, Avdol controls Magician’s Red. Fortunately, Magician’s Red is ridiculously powerful because it was introduced before author Hirohiko Araki started getting very strange with Stand powers.

You can generate flames that are strong enough to burn metal in a moment, modify the form or direction of the flames, and even detect minute variations in heat to discover opponents or detect lies using this Stand. Since these flames are generated by a Stand, they can be seen by Stand users alone.

10. Genryūsai Shigekuni Yamamoto: Bleach

Bleach’sYamamoto Genryosai was the eldest member of the 1st Division, but that didn’t mean he was in any way weak. His Zanpakuto is the strongest in history and he is the Soul Society’s most formidable swordsman, with over two thousand years of experience in combat.

Yamamoto is the equivalent of Soul Society’s deity, and he wields incredible authority. This standard looking Katana changes into his Wooden Cane, and flame is emitted in great density proportional to a small town. Yamamato has the ability to extinguish anything with this flame. It’s a brutal form of combat with no regard for self-preservation, and destruction personified. Overall, Yamamoto is a really calm and tough elderly man. That’s not even taking into account his Bankai.
