10 Best Badass Anime Characters Male That You Should Know Update 04/2024

Badass Anime Characters Male

Because certain characters shine brighter than others, it’s inevitable.

It’s the kickass showstoppers that really get the crowd pumped, even if the rest of the cast is only there to entertain us with their antics.

And we’re going to look at some of the most fearsome badasses in anime for this ranking.

So, folks, be on the lookout, because it appears that we have some badasses over there.

10. Giorno Giovanna

Giorno Giovanna

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind is an anime adaptation of the manga series.

I knew from the start that the fifth chapter was going to be fantastic. What could be wrong with a season of JoJo focused on gangster characters?

Giorno, on the other hand, blew my mind with his level of cool.

It was impossible to hate him for his attitude alone; he was a rare protagonist in the series who wasn’t opposed to murder, even if it were via banana.

If he faced a challenge, he would not back down. Moreover, when it came to securing victory for his group, he was a master of ingenuity (and brutality).

9. Mugen

In the Samurai Champloo Anime,

The fact that he can go from slacker to sword prodigy with the flick of a wrist makes Mugen immensely enticing to me in the same way that Spike is.

His fighting technique was also a sight to behold due to its rawness and originality. Often, it seemed more like a hip-hop routine than a life-saving maneuver..

As a samurai of his quality, he seemed to embody every stereotype that one would expect of a warrior of his stature.

Basically, he was out here having a good time and not worrying about anything. Because of this, you have to admire him.

8. Sukuna Ryoumen

Sukuna Ryoumen

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime series that focuses on the art of jujutsu.

The “demon/monster inside the protagonist” motif has appeared a lot in shounen films.

Sukuna, on the other hand, is a class act.

This is because Sukuna was truly terrifying, repeatedly demonstrating how little he cared about his host’s life.

In fact, he used some fairly shady methods to achieve his objectives.

Some of these sequences have him seated on his throne of bones and unleashing an unrelenting barrage of bone-crushing blows.

It’s time for shounen creators to learn from this!

7. Alucard

Hellsing Ultimate is a Japanese anime.

At this point in your life, Alucard is arguably the most important character on your list.

The reason for this is that in his universe, he feels like a terrible god, playing with his devotees before unleashing them into the abyss of eternal torment.

Every aspect of his appearance, from his costume to his abilities, was carefully crafted to exude badassness. Every situation he was in he dominated.

Despite the gravity of the situation, his demeanor sounded comical at times, as though he was just making a joke out of it all.

6. Levi

Levi Ackerman (Attack On Titan)

Attack on Titan is a popular anime series.

I’m still in awe of Levi’s ability to dazzle me so constantly throughout the event.

As for strength, it’s hardly even a contest.

Few can compete with him when it comes to devotion.

Even the main characters hasn’t showed as much depth in character development as our diminutive king.

Some of the best and most thought-provoking situations came from his brutally honest take on life. There have been many hype moments due to his ability to spatter the entire picture with blood.

5. Hisoka Morow

Hunter x Hunter is an anime series that I enjoy (2011)

Morally ambiguous characters are some of my favorites to read about.

To keep me on my toes, they are always there to challenge me.

The archetype of Hisoka is perhaps best exemplified by the character himself.

The kinks of this killer clown fascinate me despite my disapproval of them. He alone has himself to live for.

His whim can determine whether a person lives or dies, and his drive to murder in such a condescending and frequently showy manner makes for some fantastic plot twists in the story.’

When it comes to him, you don’t know what he’s up to. I can’t image Hisoka in any state other than “badassery,” either.

4. Guts

Guts (Berserk)

Berserk: The Animated Series

Guts is the result of taking everything I mentioned about Hyakkimaru and multiplying it by a factor of 10.

The guy was born from a corpse, but he still managed to have a miserable life.

If you’re a manga fan, you’ll understand what I mean.

Despite this, he continues to dominate his field and rise to the status of a living legend.

This man is so tenacious that the term “tenacious” doesn’t do justice to him. A page-turner is what you’ll get if you follow him when he gets a whiff of blood.

3. Joutarou Kuujou

Cartoon: The Stardust Crusaders of JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

Even though I adore my boy Giorno, I believe that no one comes close to this badass.

Even through all of the story’s twists, he’s managed to maintain his gloomy badboy persona.

On the outside, he appears to be all decked up. And I have no doubt that this guy could silence an entire prison with with one serious glance.

His head is on straight, as he rarely wins by physical force but rather by out-smarting his opponents..

When it comes to some of his plans, you have to question his cannon age for a moment.

2. Satoru Gojo

Satoru Gojo – Jujutsu Kaisen

Jujutsu Kaisen is a Japanese anime series that focuses on the art of jujutsu.

My list of “badass attributes” doesn’t seem to fit Gojo in any way, shape, or form.

Gojo is always joking around and has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old after consuming 300 grams of sugar.

Because of the enormous weight of authority he wields, his temperament appears to be a direct result of this.

It’s impossible to look away from the screen the entire time as this guy flexes on any opponent foolish enough to stand in his way.

While he is aware of the fact that his intentions for the future are far from carefree, he also knows that he is far from naive.

1. Itachi Uchiha

Toshio Abe’s Naruto

It was Itachi that kept me coming back to Naruto.

Despite his brief appearances on screen, his presence was felt throughout the film.

Every aspect of this guy’s demeanor is utterly terrifying.

In every aspect of his persona, from his ideology to his fighting style to his visual design, Itachi is the ultimate badass.

This man was always one step ahead of the game, whether he was the ultimate evil guy in Sasuke’s arc or the unsung hero of an entire generation.

As a result, I believe it’s only right to give him the top honors.
