There is little doubt that the great vampire legacy has been enriched by manga, light novels, anime, and OVAs, which have contributed significantly to the subgenre of horror and/or fantasy.
All of these titles on this list feature gorgeous animation, excellent plotlines, and interesting characters, regardless of whether or not vampire powers, weaknesses, and origin myth/stories have changed over time.
All of which explains why the subgenre is so popular with both fans and artists.

20. Blood-C (2011) – Places A High School Girl In A False Reality
In spite of being a member of theBloodfranchise, this anime has no connection to the previousBloody+. Even more so than the 2005 series, it’s a lot darker in tone. As a result, the protagonist, Saya Kisaragi, has her life turned upside down by the show’s twist.
In her demeanor, she evokes a Buffy-esque character. During the day, she is a student at the high school. Elder Bairns, creatures who feast on human blood, are her nighttime adversaries. Saya thinks something is off when the demons begin to strike during the day. That she is, in fact, a faking Elder Bairn who has created her own reality.

A vampire family includes Karin Maaka, the series’ protagonist, popularly known asChibi Vampire. Her demeanor, on the other hand, is far from typical of that of an undead representative. During the day, she walks out, goes to high school, and looks in the mirror.
She doesn’t even bite humans to steal their blood, in fact. She overdoes it, resulting in massive nosebleeds. When Kenta, a new transfer student, gets her heart racing, things get even worse. As if that wasn’t enough, Karin is a teenage vampire coming-of-age romantic comedy.
17. Shiki (2010) – Draws From True Vampire Horror
Vampires that try to adapt to everyday life in Shiki aren’t happy-go-lucky vampires. Adapted from Fuyumi Ono’s horror novel, it defies the genre’s norms. Survival in a world where good and evil are indistinguishable is the focus of this story.
Megumi Shimizu, a young Japanese woman, was found dead in a rural Japanese village. This triggers an epidemic that transforms normal people into vampires, which they finally refer to as Shiki. Doctors and other members of the community are taking part in a gruesome experiment in order to find out how to end the fear. 11. Servamp (2016) – Is About A Lazy Vampire & Human Friend
In the world of anime, vampires exist in a wide variety of forms. Those that want to rule the world no matter where they are will do so. Those who prefer to do nothing prefer to do nothing at all.
Servamp is a good example of this. Mahiru Shirota, a high school student, finds a stray cat on her walk home and names it Kuro. He wakes up one day to discover a young man instead of the cat on his couch. When Kuro is mistakenly exposed to sunlight by Mahiru, he reverts to his original shape. Some Kowloon Children survived and they want to reach the “Special Zone” (a wealthy city protected by an undetectable barrier), so the two decide to re-enter the conflict. It becomes more difficult when Kotaro is seized by the Kowloon. In order to save his sibling, Jirougo will do anything.

They go out, but her organs are transplanted into his body after she reveals herself and a terrible accident kills her and puts him in danger of death. She’s a vampire-hunting guardian, a student at Cross Academy, and the daughter of Kaien Cross, the school’s headmaster.
Yuki is a vampire hunter who has undergone extensive training. She’s also involved in a love triangle with two vampires at the same time. A vampire bite changed the lives of these two into two different people: Zero Kiryu, Yuki’s adopted brother, and Kaname Kuran, an original pureblood who saved Yuki when she was little.
2. Dance In The Vampire Bund (2010) – Tries To Establish Harmony

With the help of a mysterious and powerful ancient vampire,Alucard, and his sidekick, freshly turned vampire Seras Victoria, they battle supernatural foes who are trying to take over England.
