6 Best Anime Like Kiznaiver That You Should Watching Update 12/2021

Anime Like Kiznaiver

Welcome to the spring season, which means it’s time for cherry blossoms, warm weather, hay fever, sunshine, and a slew of brand new anime.

The first few episodes of the new season are now available, so it’s time to talk about what’s new this year. It’s got a lot to offer: there’s action and comedy, as well as stories like Kiznaiver and some Ecchi anime. It’s a story about a group of high school students who have the ability to feel each other’s physical pain. They may hold the key to world peace, but no one in the futuristic city of Sugomori knows for sure what will happen to them.

The plot of Kiznaiver looks intriguing, but you may be unsure whether or not to try it. To help you narrow down your options, we’ve put together a list of six anime that share a lot of common themes with Kiznaiver. So, take a look around and tell your friends about it!

1. Kill la Kill

Kill la Kill

There are a total of 24 episodes.

Released in October 2013 and ended in March 2014, respectively.

This list begins with Kill la Kill, a show that incorporates humor and action in a variety of ways.

When it comes to Ryuuko Matoi, she’s driven by vengeance for the murder of her father. Honnouji Academy, where she ends up, is a place ruled by those in positions of authority. Having a giant scissor blade and a special outfit that gives her special abilities, Ryuko is ready to face anyone who stands in her way of finding the person responsible for her father’s murder.

Kill la Kill is based on Kiznaiver, and both were created by Mari Okada at the animation studio Trigger, so there will be some similarities between the two. It’s not just that both shows are set in high school; they also feature elements of drama, comedy, and plenty of action. Kiznaiver and Kill la Kill are two examples of anime that could fit in with the rest, but instead manage to stand out for reasons other than their quality. Our first suggestion is to check out the film Kill la Kill!

2. Mekakucity Actors

Mekakucity Actors

There are a total of 12 episodes.

From April to June 2014, the show was on the air.

It’s no secret that Mekakucity Actors has a loyal following, but how does it stack up against Kiznaiver?

Shintarou Kisaragi, an otaku and a shut-in, stumbles out of his room and into the busy streets outside of his safe haven in the beginning of this story. When he meets a group of young people calling themselves “Mekakushi Dan,” what was supposed to be a quick trip turns into something much more significant. Over time, Mekakucity Actors will gradually introduce you to all of these characters.

Mekakucity Actors’ unique character design is unquestionably their strongest selling point. It’s not afraid to make a statement, and that’s why it reminds me of Kiznaiver. Both shows invest a great deal of time and energy into creating their characters and portraying them to the viewer. There’s a good chance you’ll enjoy Mekakucity Actors if you like one of the other show’s similar mix of action, comedy, supernatural, and sci-fi elements.

3. Charlotte

Charlotte

There are thirteen episodes in this season.

From July to September of this year, the show was on the air.

Please don’t forget about Charlotte, the smash hit of summer 2015, which is our next pick for you to watch.

Yuu Otosaka, a loner in high school, possesses a unique power: he can control the bodies of those around him for a brief period of time. It’s a shame he doesn’t put his newfound authority to good use instead of serving his own self-interest. But when he meets Nao Tomori, he learns that his ruthless ways are coming to an end. She wants him to join her group of gifted individuals. We’re about to embark on an incredible journey.

A high school setting is combined with supernatural elements, and two main characters are thrust into an unfamiliar setting. However, the similarities between Charlotte and other celebrities aren’t the only reason we had to include her in this ranking. The two shows are more closely linked for us because of the relationships that develop between the main characters as the series progresses. If you like stories about high school that have a deeper plot, you’ll love this!

4. Angel Beats!

Angel Beats!

There are thirteen episodes in this season.

The show aired from April to June of 2010.

With Angel Beats!, we’re carrying on the high school theme into the afterlife.

Is there anything that happens to us after we pass away? Otonashi, a high school student, may have the answer to this age-old question. He finds out he’s dead when he wakes up on a campus he’s never seen before. A group of rebellious and equally dead students is about to join him in their fight against a foe greater than them all: God.

In Angel Beats!, cute character design meets a high school story with a dark undertone in an absurdly entertaining way. The show’s main cast resembled the Kiznaivers, despite the fact that they are diametrically opposed. There will be times when both groups will have to work together and there will be times when you will be able to reflect on the deeper meaning of the story. If you enjoy a good laugh as well as being challenged, this show is for you.

5. Kokoro Connect

Kokoro Connect

There are thirteen episodes in this season.

The show aired from July to September of this year.

Most often, Kiznaiver has been compared to Kokoro Connect, a Japanese anime series.

This is the story of the Cultural Research Club, a group of unusual students who meet in a typical high school setting. As if on cue, the students begin swapping bodies with no idea when or where they will do so next. This experience not only creates some hilarious scenarios, but it also reveals some unseen feelings and secrets, and the group of friends must decide if this will drive them apart or bring them closer.

What makes this story so similar to Kiznaiver is that it centers around a group of students who are connected in a special way, as you’ve probably guessed by now. As in both anime series, the main cast is brought together by an outside force before figuring things out together. If you’re looking for a more daring and action-packed version of Kokoro Connect, then Kiznaiver is the show for you.

6. Nanatsu no Taizai (The Seven Deadly Sins)

Nanatsu no Taizai

There are a total of 24 episodes.

Shown from October 2014 until March 2015 on the following channels:

Finally, but certainly not least, we have Nanatsu no Taizai, the most recent show on this list.

You’re thrown into a fantasy world full of kingdoms, knights, and other heroes during this heroic quest. A group of warriors known as the Holy Knights was able to establish tyranny in the Kingdom of Liones after making a calculated move. The Seven Deadly Sins, a legendary band of knights, are the only ones who can stop them. Will princess Elizabeth be able to track them down and bring them all together in time?

The Seven Deadly Sins are mentioned in Kiznaiver from the very beginning. Despite the fact that they aren’t a major part of the show, the characters’ various personalities are described using them. Taking this concept a step further, Nantsu no Taizai gives these sins human characteristics. Whichever show you prefer, both feature a diverse cast of characters who are frequently thrust into unexpected situations and must work as a unit to overcome them. Nanatsu no Taizai is our final recommendation because it demonstrates how we can get along despite our differences.

Final Thoughts

This concludes our list of suggested shows to watch if you enjoyed Kiznaiver. As you can see, these shows have a lot in common, such as a focus on high school or the supernatural. However, each anime has a unique twist that makes it a stand-alone work of art. Check out our suggested shows even if you don’t want to watch Kiznaiver because they are excellent shows that will keep you occupied during the upcoming warm spring days.
