10 Best Anime Military Characters That You Should Watching Update 04/2024

Anime Military Characters

Everyone, regardless of gender, looks hot in a uniform.

Bonus points if you’re also a patriot.

For this reason, we’ve ranked some of the best soldier characters in anime in the hopes of showing our appreciation for these attractive heroes. Let me know if you have any questions about my reasoning in the comments section below.

10. Griffith

Griffith - Berserk

Berserk

Few human beings are capable of comprehending Griffith.

This character has a high charm rating, but also plenty of room for swordsmanship and mobility.

They all put their lives in his hands, and even those who despise him couldn’t resist his clever tongue, penetrating eye and false appeal.

Because he was so enormous, whatever setback he suffered had devastating effects on those around him, crushing them all.

Did he do it for the sake of world peace, his own ego, or just plain old guts? That is the question. I have no idea what’s going on.

9. Mikasa Ackerman

Awkward: Titan Attack

Mikasa is a lot like Levi, except cuter and more deserving of the title of waifu.

She’s also an excellent fighter, second only to Levi, and has the mental fortitude to deal with even the most difficult conditions.

For the time being, at least, Eren remains apart from the proceedings. That boy is both her vulnerability and her strength, and if it means saving him, she’ll do whatever it takes.

Eren’s 56th rescue from captivity isn’t guaranteed by her behavior, which isn’t ideal from a military standpoint. However, seeing her angry is exhilarating for the rest of us.

8. Esdeath

Esdeath (Akame ga Kill)

It’s time to kill it, Akame!

It’s the funniest thing ever that Esdeath is in charge of an army.

There’s no use in having them because she doesn’t need them, no matter how well-armed or skillful they are. As long as she wants to, she can just freeze an entire invading army.

She’s a decent soldier despite her extraordinary abilities, remaining loyal to her monarch and performing his dirty work despite her displeasure.

In response, he tried to be a wingman, but it didn’t work out too well.

7. Rudol von Stroheim

Battle Tendencies from JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure, an anime series

This guy is a complete and utter maniac in every manner possible. And that’s why I adore him.

So I’ll modify that final part, because he’s Nazi. There’s no denying Rudol’s cruelty. And he’ll conduct his tests on innocent civilians.

As well as being extremely courageous and refusing to back down from a confrontation even if it meant blowing himself up or slicing off a leg.

The Pillar Men were finally defeated at the end of the series thanks to his help, so he’s not all awful.

6. Kallen Stadtfeld

Kallen Stadtfeld- Code Geass

I am a huge fan of the anime series

“Kallen is the ultimate hottie,” I’ve remarked many times before.

That Japanese mentality of suppressing emotions and occasionally having a tantrum is part of who she is. That being said, she’s a great soldier when it comes to ability and dedication to the cause at hand.

We can’t ignore her strong sense of self-reliance, as evidenced by her willingness to throw hands even when she’s entirely exposed.

The most heartwarming and wholesome experience is, of course, when she has one of her heartfelt outpourings.

5. Ikta Solork

Alderamin on the Sky is an anime series you should watch.

Laziness personified, Ikta is the ideal persona to want to be.

It’s obvious that the man is too lazy to show up for class and spends the day dozing off.

Also, when he isn’t napping, you can find him making out with some hot senoritas. Even though he’s in the military, he’s terrible at combat.

But wait, there’s more!

What does it matter if the other player is playing checkers or chess in 3D? Not to Ikta, because he has that enormous intellect and can easily outthink them both. As a result, we have the Invincible Lazy General.

4. Roy Mustang

fullmetal-alchemist-roy-mustang

Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood is a popular anime.

Roy has a lot in common with Ikta.

On the surface, he appears to do nothing than slouch around in his colonel’s chair, tossing papers to his subordinates. A well-known flirt, he’s likely seen quite a bit of action in his time.

In the end, what you see is a thoughtful tactician who is always planning his next move and accumulating information.

In this way, he resembles Ikta, albeit with a bit more experience.

3. Heinrich Lunge

Monsters University

Lunge, on paper, is just a BKA detective.

But given the scenarios he finds himself in, I don’t think it’s a leap to refer to him as a soldier.

In order to maintain objectivity, he air-types every piece of information he considers important. If solving a case means going to the ends of the Earth, he’ll do whatever it takes.

Despite the fact that his family life suffers as a result, he has a fantastic character arc.

2. Willem Kmetsch

Willem Kmetsch

Anime: End of the World What Do You Do When the World Ends? Do you have a lot on your plate? It’s up to You!

The titles of these light novels are just so dreadful.

Willem, on the other hand, is a sad hero who is also likable. He is the lone surviving member of his family.

That’s not even the worst part; folks aren’t even happy that he lived!

This causes him to feel a lot of remorse as a survivor. Fortunately, this quickly transforms into a heart filled with compassion and enthusiasm.

He was also raised in a foster family, so he has a special place in his heart for little ones. As someone continues to imply more obscene interpretations of his affection for children.

1. Yoko Littner

Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann is an anime series.

Let’s take a look at Yoko, a revolutionary soldier’s best friend and the girl who led her army to numerous wins.

Yoko has yet to be proven to be dislikeable by science.

One minute she’s a mecha sniper, the next she’s an inspiring teacher. She’s funny, cute, and badass.

Because her genetic code is so perfect, some believe the writers had to ensure it wasn’t handed down to safeguard future generations.
