In 1970s suburban Pennsylvania, a 14-year-old girl is murdered by her next-door neighbor. She tells the tale from the liminal space between the heavenly and terrestrial planes, highlighting the changes in the lives of those in her immediate vicinity as she searches for help in locating her body.
