Rental Girlfriend is your typical harem romantic comedy. It’s nothing out of the ordinary. If you enjoy the show, here is a list of seven other anime you may also enjoy.
7. To Love-Ru (2008-17)
In ‘To Love Ru,’ Rito Yuki, a sweet yet shy high school student, struggles to express his feelings for classmate Haruna Sairenji. In Lala Satalin Deviluke, the known universe’s princess, he begins to open up. Many other ladies, including Haruna and Lala, develop love affections for Rito during the play. After watching ‘Rent-A-Girlfriend,’ I highly recommend watching ‘Tu Love-Ru’.
6. Oreshura (2013)
Two girls vie for the attention of an adolescent guy in the film “Oreshura.” When it comes to the two of them, one has coerced him into pretending to date her, while the other is his best buddy from childhood. His former lover still harbors feelings for him, while another woman thinks they’re engaged to each other. They are both lighthearted harem romantic comedies in which the heroes are thoughtful, good-natured young men, while the ladies aren’t quite what they appear.
5. Love and Lies (2017)
Kazuya and Yukari Nejima’s love and lies are depicted in ‘Love and Lies’, which takes place in an alternate universe where one must pair up with their government-designated mate or face terrible repercussions. In spite of the fact that the two series have quite different topics, with ‘Love and Lies’ having a darker and grimmer tone, the two characters in each episode start out very similarly.
4. High School DxD (2012-18)
The fact that ‘High School DxD’ contains gods, angels, and demons in its harem isn’t what has earned it a place on this list. In that show, Rias Gremory, the mysterious and attractive female protagonist, shares many of Chizuru’s characteristics. Both ladies have a strong sense of self-confidence, yet they can also be wonderfully generous when they choose to be. There are several examples of this, such as when Kazuya’s grandma mistakenly believes that his lover is Chizuru. Additionally, Rias has a heart of gold, and she will go to great measures to safeguard those who are dear to her.
3. Golden Time (2013-14)
Banri Tada, a freshly admitted student at a top Tokyo law school, is the focus of “Golden Time.” He’s in a car accident right before he’s about to enroll, and he’s completely wiped out. It turns out that she is his long-lost buddy, Koko Kaga, a gorgeous but antagonistic girl. Resurfacing memories lead Banri to reassess his love for Kaga as the series develops. In the end, Banri and Kazuya share the same DNA. They are both considerate, courteous, and cautious..
2. My First Girlfriend Is a Gal (2017)
True self is hidden from the world by Yukana Yame, who appears to be Chizuru in disguise. In contrast, while she wears a nice and charming girl’s mask, the other appears guarded and aloof. In order to find love, Junichi Hashiba, the main character of the show, goes to high school and tries to find a girlfriend. In response to the insistence of his buddies, he goes up to Yukana and confesses his love for her. Despite the fact that she recognizes his true intentions right away, she agrees to his proposition. As a result, other students at Junichi’s school begin to harbor romantic affections for him.
1. Mayo Chiki! (2011)
When it comes to ladies, ‘Mayo Chiki!’ protagonist Kinjiro Sakamachi is even more abysmal than Kazuya. Gynophobic, he bleeds from his nose when in personal contact with a woman.. His life is turned upside down when he learns that Subaru Konoe, the popular and attractive butler, is actually a girl.
