Dr. Stone does a good job with the science to come up with an intriguing premise, and the show’s interesting cast makes it one of the best of the season.

The anime’s survival, escapism, and surrealism themes make it difficult to pin down exactly what genre Dr. Stone belongs to. So it’s unfair to limit shows that might be similar simply because they have the same thematic content. Dr. Stone presents a general idea, and this list has been updated to include anime that incorporate other elements that can be interpreted by fans. This series excels at making the viewer care about the children before gradually removing them from sight. This creates a sense of suspense for the viewer, as they don’t know what will happen in the next scene.

As Emma, Rei, and Norman attempt to flee the human farm where they once lived, The Promised Neverland follows their adventures. While not quite the same style of survival anime as Dr. Stone, the premise and execution of this anime make it a must-see.

This anime takes place in the 22nd century, when Earth has become uninhabitable and humans have been forced to colonize other parts of space. A freak event leaves Luna, her dog, and six of her classmates stranded on a planet that is meant to be uninhabitable.

an animated series that takes place in 2063, where space travel is a normal occurrence. Teenagers from squad B-5 were sent to a campsite one day. Unfortunately for her, she gets what she wants. Immediately following the robot exhibition in Kanto, an enormous earthquake strikes, trapping the children inside. Mari Kusakabe comes to their aid and they are able to begin their long journey home to safety.
