5 Best TV Shows Like The Secret Circle That You Should Watching Update 03/2024

TV Shows Like The Secret Circle

A little bit of enchantment never hurt anyone, right? If you’re looking for a TV show like The Secret Circle, then these five are for you! Despite its short run, The Secret Circle was a fantastic show about a group of witchy teenagers. For just one season, it had me utterly enthralled! When the show was canceled, I was devastated. Fortunately, there are a lot of other shows with similar topics that I can binge on. Check out a couple of my favorites below!

1. Switched at Birth

Switched at Birth

In Switched at Birth, there isn’t a supernatural element. However, if you’re searching for some teenage drama (good and bad), you’ll probably want to watch a few episodes. It was the first popular series to incorporate a large number of actors who were hard of hearing or deaf, and it ran for four seasons on ABC Family.

The show revolves around two teenage Kansas City residents. When it comes to their upbringing, they came from very different backgrounds. There should be no surprise in the show’s title that they were swapped at birth. To find out what happens next, keep watching.

2. Pretty Little Liars

Pretty Little Liars

PLL is popular with a large audience. So much so that the seventh season will premiere in April of this year. Unfortunately, the Liars will be gone for good when the final credits roll. It set a new record for ABC Family when it launched in 2010. To solve their closest friend’s abduction and murder, four pals team together.

However, there’s a much more serious issue that needs to be addressed. Not to mention a nemesis known only as “A” whose objective is to expose every single one of the girls’ darkest secrets. A book series based on Pretty Little Liars was developed as the TV show’s popularity exploded.

3. The Witches of East End

The Witches of East End

North Hampton, a fictional seaside hamlet, serves as the backdrop for The Witches of East End. Joanna, Freya, Ingrid, and Wendy Beauchamp will introduce themselves to you. It just so happens that they’re all witches.

Due to an unforeseen set of events, Freya and Ingrid only learn they are witches when their mother Joanna breaks the news that they are all immortal and strong. There were only two seasons, which is a bummer because I really enjoyed the show.

4. Supernatural

Supernatural

There have been times when Sam and Dean Winchester have not been fighting evil. It is, however, something they’ve been aware of since they were boys As a result of this, their mother was killed by a demonic entity. For the first time in 22 years, they set out to find their father and confront the demonic monster that killed their mother.

Those who enjoy demon-hunting shows should check out Supernatural. Although Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki were created with the intention of attracting a male audience (think fast cars and cool 80s “boy” music), they have been able to garner a large following of female fans of all ages. I can nearly guarantee that you’ll be captivated after seeing just a couple of the 252 episodes!

5. Charmed

Charmed

Known as “The Charmed Ones,” Charmed tells the story of three sisters. Using the “Power of Three,” these witches each possess a distinct magical ability that they employ to protect innocent people. Piper, Prue, and Phoebe have a difficult time keeping their secret and living a normal existence. Every now and again, they have interpersonal issues, and a few of them wind up in the midst of an FBI investigation.

Several Charmed-related products were created because of the show’s successful eight-season run. Multiple novels and board games are included in this collection of works. Charmed is my favorite among the television shows on this list that are similar to Secret Circle. It is, in fact, one of my favorite shows ever! I think I’ve seen it at least eight times through!
