A train without driver on board starts rolling down the tracks, which can take the tracks at any second into a populated area. To make matters worse, the train carries liters of a toxic substance that can harm or kill someone with whom it comes in contact. Do you still feel the adrenaline pumping? This is the complot of the action-thrillerUnstoppable in 2010, Tony Scott’s last film before his death.
Denzel Washington and Chris Pine play both men with the help of a yardmaster played by Rosario Dawson who stopped the train. Although the movie received no attention at its first release, it was gained from reviewers positive reviews and rekindled audience interest that recognized it as a tight, exciting and fun-filled action flicker.
However, in case you completed viewing Unstoppable, and you are an adventure junkie that needs more films with fascinating diagrams, you are lucky. 1. San Andreas (2015)
In San Andreas, California is facing a state-wide earthquake, the greatest historical earthquake. Dwayne Johnson plays Ray Gaines, a Los Angeles Fire Department rescue chopper pilot who is attempting to find his daughter, Blake (Alexandra Daddario), in… San Francisco in turmoil. Ray’s estranged wife Emma, as he is her final resort, is obliged to turn to Ray for support. They travel together to save their daughter.
2. The Taking Of Pelham 123 (2009)
Four armed guys steal a subway train in Manhattan in the early afternoon. They stop on a little slope, disconnecting the first vehicle to leave the remainder of the train. Their boss is Ryder; he contacts the dispatcher who watches that line with Walter Garber by telephone. Garber is a temporary supervisor… who has been demoted for bribery. Ryder requires $10 million in an hour, or he is going to start shooting hostages. He’s only going to deal with Garber. The Mayor accepts the offer, the news of the position of the captive causes the stock market to crumble, and it is unclear what Ryder actually wants or whether Garber is part of the arrangement. Will it live with captives, kidnappers and negotiators?
3. Godzilla (2014)
In 1999, most of the hands lost were inexplicably incinerated, including Sandra, coworker and wife of Joe Brody’s boss. Years later Joe’s son, Ford, the disposal officer for the US Navy, had to come to Japan to support his foreign father, who passionately sought the truth of the tragedy. Father and son find the secret source of the accident on the same grounds of the ship. This allows them to see a resurgence of a catastrophic threat to all humanity, aggravated by a second secret revival somewhere. Against this calamity, Godzilla may be the last hope in the Earth, but even as humanity strives to grasp their deadly partnership, the challenge for the King of the Monsters will be enormous.
4. 13 Hours (2016)
Libya, 2012. Libya. A crew of ex-military contractors provide protection at an unofficial CIA base in Benghazi. After the downfall of Gaddafi, there is a power vacuum and the situation is unpredictable. Military weaponry are available freely. The US ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens, visits the area, staying in a residential area near the CIA base. On the night of 11 September 2012 hordes of heavily armed locals attack the Ambassador’s compound. Six CIA contractors are the only forces willing and able to defend it.
5. Midnight Special (2016)
Alton Meyer is a boy with odd strengths and shortcomings, unlike anyone else in the world. His father, Roy, transports him away from the lonely cult that almost avows him and is desperate to win him back at all costs in the middle of the night. At the same time, Alton’s capacity… the US government has also observed things and they also insist on reaching the end of this riddle with Paul Sevier from the Federal National Security Agency heading his own hunt. These rivals drag father and son on a desperate course to a coming date with destiny that could all change.
6. Patriots Day (2016)
On 15 April 2013, Tommy Saunders pulls security duties on the Annual Boston Marathon in Boston, Massachusetts, Sgt Police, when the Tsarnaev brothers strike their homemade explosives in an act of terrorism. In the turmoil caused by the wounded, Saunders and his fellows combine forces to get the FBI to the end of the attack. The Tsarnaev brothers recognize that, as the investigation continues, police are about to identify them and try to depart town to carry on their fanatical chaos. To stop them, a police manhunt will be carried out which would involve bloody encounters and a huge dragnet to shut down the City of Boston to ensure that the law does not escape.
7. The Brothers Grimsby (2016)
The top murderer of MI6 (Mark Strong) has a sibling. Unfortunately he’s a soccer hooligan from the city of Grimsby for him (Sacha Baron Cohen). Nobby has all one man from Grimsby’s modest English fishing village could want – 9 children and the northernmost girlfriend of England (Rebel Wilson). One thing is lacking in his life: Sebastian, his little brother. After being adopted as children by different families, Nobby spent 28 years looking for him. When he heard of his place, Nobby begins to meet his brother, ignoring that he is not only an MI6 spy for his brother, he has just unearthed a conspiracy that jeopardizes the world. In a run and wrongly accused man, Sebastian sees that he would need the support of his greatest stupid if he wishes to redeem the world.
8. Nick Of Time (1995)
Gene Watson is a public accountant, accompanied by his 6-year-old daughter Lynn, who arrives by train at Union Station, Los Angeles. He’s contacted by a couple of evil persons named Smith and Jones because of his ordinary look. Smith and Jones claim to be cops and kidnap Lynn and confront him. Gene of simple choice: murder Governor Eleanor Grant in California in 90 minutes or less, or Lynn is going to die. Watson has a gun, six bullets and a name badge and is told to go to the Westin Bonaventure Hotel to kill Eleanor, who speaks at afternoon. While Jones looks at Lynn in a vehicle, Smith monitors Watson to prevent the authorities from informing Watson. Watson must rapidly find a way out of this seemingly insurmountable scenario for himself and Lynn.
9. Colossal (2016)
Gloria (Anne Hathaway) is an out-of-work girl that is forced to abandon her life in New York when her lover kicked her flat and moved back to her home town. When news reports appear that Seoul, South Korea, is being destroyed by a giant creature, Gloria gradually realizes that she is tied to this far-off phenomena. As events continue to spin out, Gloria must uncover why her seemingly insignificant existence has such an enormous impact on the destiny of the world.
10. Source Code (2011)
Captain Colter Stevens of the Army works on a special software to insert his consciousness into another human being. The only catch is only available at any given moment for eight minutes. A bomb exploded that morning on a commuter train just outside Chicago. He occupies the body of instructor who works on the train and is perplexed about what he is doing or why, his last recollection being to fly a combat mission in Afghanistan with his helicopter. Those responsible for the program explain to him that the train has a bomb and that he has to locate it. More importantly, the bomber needs to be identified as another bombing is expected later that day. However, he is also told that he cannot change the past and can only collect knowledge. As his traveling partner Christina likes him, he tries this notion.
11. The Dark Knight (2008)

Six months later, Daniel Harrelson or “Hondo,” a seasoned S.W.A.T. officer, is assigned to form a S.W.A.T. squad for its division. He selects other officers from S.W.A.T. and three rookies. After passing S.W.A.T. training, however, they get a message that a French boss of crime known as Alex Montell is trying to get out of jail. This won’t be simple to prevent, especially once Montell promises his rescuers $100 million.
13. Mission: Impossible – Ghost Protocol (2011)
Ethan Hunt and a new team battle against time for tracking Hendricks, a dangerous terrorist who has been given access to Russian nuclear launch codes and is planning a US strike, will be taking part in the fourth edition of the Mission Impossible series. The team’s attempt to halt him at the Kremli ends with a disaster, an explosion leading to serious damage to the Kremlin and the IMF, compelling the President to appeal to the Ghost Protocol under which the IMF is not accepted and will not be granted any assistance or safeguards at all. Ethan and his squad are undaunted, chasing Hendricks to Dubai from there to Mumbai, but numerous fantastic sequences of action later may still be too late to save a calamity.
14. Godzilla (1998)
Following the French nuclear bombs in the Southern Pacifique, an unknown monster passes the Panama Canal eastwards. Scientist Niko Tatopolous was summoned to study the matter, and swiftly came to the conclusion that the ex-plosions formed a big radioactive Lizard. Then Godzilla goes north, landing in Manhattan, to wreak damage in the huge city. Will it be sufficient to preserve New York residents, even with the united U.S. military forces to confront the monster?
15. Battle Los Angeles (2011)
Los Angeles and other cities across the world are bombed with meteors which appear to slow down as soon as they enter the earth’s atmosphere. The planet is abruptly invaded by space aliens who descend on the shores of LA and begin to slaughter everyone on the beach. The military is in action. The military. The retired Nantz Marine Staff (Aaron Eckhart) is posted to a new platoon. The peloton, which was flown to the forward operations base at airport Santa Monica, will be headed by a new 2nd Lt. Martinez (Ramon Rodriguez). They are sent on a rescue mission to rescue certain individuals trapped in alien territories at the police station. They have only 3 hours to complete their task and leave the area before air bombs.
16. The Cable Guy (1996)
Steven Kovak’s girlfriend was forced out of his residence. Steven gets a new apartment and decides to provide $50 free of charge to the cable person (Chip). Steven then falsifies an interest in Chip’s work line. But Chip takes it to heart to become Steven’s best buddy. When Steven doesn’t want to be a Chips friend for the man who can accomplish all this, he attacks Steven’s life. The sensitive sub-plot of the prosecution of a former kid star for the killing of his brother is in the background.
17. Deepwater Horizon (2016)
In April 2010, there is no oil exploration activity in the Gulf of Mexico comparing its size or pure depth to that of the Deepwater Horizon oil plant. The BP oil company’s project has technical challenges, however, to the point that it is worried with the potential harmful problems caused by the general operational supervisory body… R, Jimmy Harrell and his chief electrical engineer, Mike Williams. Unfortunately, visiting BP managers, dissatisfied by the prolonged delay, order site inspections reduced and scheduled system testing, which compensates for the waste of time, even when Harrell, Williams and his team object hollowly for good safety. On April 20, the fears of the workers were realized in the worst way possible when the different structural and system failures of the facilities sparked a catastrophic storm of failures that created a massive bloom and explosion that endangered them all, while the worst environmental disaster in US history also began.
18. The Fugitive (1993)
Dr. Richard Kimble, a distinguished Chicago surgeon, has realized that his wife, Helen, has been savagely killed in her own house. The police discovered Kimble and charged him with the assassination. Kimble was then tried, convicted and sentenced to death (without reasonable). On the way to prison, however, the transportation of Kimble crashed. Kimble is escaping and running now. Chicago’s Deputy Samuel Gerard takes over Kimble’s chase. In the meantime, Kimble goes on his own investigation to find out who killed his wife and to lure Gerard and his squad.
