A lot of these crime films will be appealing to fans of Thelma & Louise’s melodrama and quirky relationships.

To find a group of bad guys looking to compromise personal privacy, their boss Charlie (John Forsythe) assigns Natalie, Dylan, and Alex (Diaz, Barrymore, and Liu). They put their crime-fighting abilities to use and will stop at nothing to complete the mission.

Featuring strong female characters, friendship, and nonstop action, Charlie’s Angels is a thrilling reboot of the classic television series.

9. Bonnie And Clyde (1967) – Netflix

The 1967 film masterpiece Bonnie & Clyde, directed by Arthur Penn, features one of history’s most infamous bank robber couples, Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. This film, starring Warren Beatty as Clyde and Faye Dunaway as Bonnie, helped shape the action-crime genre.

When Bonnie gets fed up with her job as a waitress, she joins forces with Clyde, a convicted felon who has just been released from jail. On their criminal rampage, they bring guns, killing, and lots of cash along with them. They gather a small band of followers along the way who share their goals. As a result of its longevity, the film was remade in 2013.

Andy Tennant’s 2016 adventure-comedy Wild Oats, which is similar to Thelma & Louise, is another option. Eva and Maddie, two retired women played by Shirley MacLaine and Jessica Lange, decide to take off and reap the rewards of their newfound wealth.

As soon as Eva and her best friend Maddie receive a $500,000 insurance check instead of a $1,000 check, they decide to flee the authorities and start a new life in the lap of luxury. Of course, things don’t go as planned, which adds to the fun of the film.

7. Pulp Fiction (1994) – HBO Max

Pulp Fiction, directed and written by Quentin Tarantino, is a great crime film from the 1990s. Two hitmen, Vincent Vega and Jules Winnfield (played by John Travolta and Samuel L. Jackson, respectively), are tasked with finding their mob boss Marsellus Wallace’s stolen suitcase (Ving Rhames).

A former boxer named Butch Coolidge (Bruce Willis) and his wife Mia Wallace (Uma Thurman), Marsellus’ wife, are among the characters who interact with Wallace on both a professional and personal level. Despite the bizarre and macabre situations faced by the actors, the film is a cult favorite. If moviegoers enjoyed Pulp Fiction, they should see Den of Thieves and other LA noir flicks like it.

The couple continues their search for their son and reunion as a family after taking him hostage. Steven Spielberg’s second major debut film, The Sugarland Express, was well received even back in its infancy.

5. Blue Steel (1990) – Tubi

Jamie Lee Curtis and Ron Silver starred in Kathryn Bigelow’s 1990 crime-action drama Blue Steel. Curtis portrays Megan Turner, a rookie cop who, after being involved in a supermarket robbery on her first day on the job, shoots the thief to death. In light of the fact that Turner showed no signs of having a weapon to defend himself, the offender has been suspended.

She quickly returns to her job after her initials are found on the bodies of a murder victim and becomes engrossed with another case and a dangerous assassin who knows about her past.

3. Monster (2003) – Amazon Prime Video

Aileen Wuornos, a real-life serial killer, is the subject of the 2003 biographical crime drama Monster. It’s hard to tell that Charlize Theron is Wuornos thanks to the makeup team’s work.

Christina Ricci, who plays Wurnos’ friend and eventual girlfriend Selby, co-stars with Theron. It was Ricci and Theron who brought Wuornos’ turbulent life, her determination to change, and the events that led to her murder of several men to life for the audience.

This was supposed to be a one-night stand for call girl Alabama Whitman (Patricia Arquette) and Clarence Worley (Christian Slater). However, as they get to know one another, they discover they have an undeniable attraction.

They end up with a suitcase full of cocaine after a hastily planned wedding. They decide to sell the cocaine and make their way to Mexico. Will the couple get away with their crimes or will the authorities come after them?
