2. The Longest Ride
The next unlikely pairing on our list is Nicholas Sparks and bull riding. However, The Longest Ride manages to pull it off. This romantic comedy from 2015 is about a bull rider who is attempting to get back into the sport and his romance with a college art student who wants to go to New York City for the first time. An elderly widower tells his love tale from more than half a century ago as they contemplate their future together.
There are three actors in this picture who provide both excitement and emotion to the screen: Britt Robertson, Scott Eastwood, and Alan Ada. Fans will root for Robertson and Eastwood because of their wonderful chemistry.
At the end of the day, The Longest Ride is a fantastic film that can convert even the most apathetic of bull riding fans. The action sequences including bull riding are sure to keep you riveted, but it’s the heartwarming love tale that will keep you coming back for more.
3. The Rider
The next film we’ll be showing you is a very moving one. This is a 2017 movie about a young man who wakes up from a coma after an eventful competition with broncs goes awry. He had a hard time figuring out who he is now after his accident. During his free time, he takes care of his autistic sister and a bull-riding comrade with a concussion injury.
Because none of the actors in this film are actors, it is interesting. Brady Jandreau was inspired to write the film since he was a victim of the same injuries as the main character of the film. That the characters are not actors makes it feel more authentic and relatable. Cowboy life in the present day is depicted in a raw and honest way in this film. They risk their lives for what they love in this film, which shows the dangers that bull and bronc riders encounter.

However, when he goes home, he discovers that a lot has changed in the time since he left. He chooses to enter one final bull riding competition to aid his father and keep the family farm running.
Scott Glenn, Kate Capshaw, Ben Johnson, and Gary Busey all star in the film and each one delivers a memorable performance. Rodeo enthusiasts will be most captivated by the movie’s real-life performers, not the actors.
