While there are many anime characters in the paid killing game, among the genre’s best, which one has the most literal band behind them?
While anime is plenty of warriors and aliens, there is no comparison to the elite and a few anime assassin. The assassin, on the other hand, prefers the quieter methods of murdering over the more obnoxious use of huge laser beams and explosions.
Hand-to-hand combat, simple blades, poisons, and whatever else happens to be nearby are all possibilities. It’s all about getting more done with less, and the best assassins are known for this trait. Who among the best anime characters has gotten the most literal band for their money in the paid killing game?
1. Reborn (Katekyo Hitman Reborn!)
There aren’t many on-screen killings in Reborn’s career. In spite of the fact that Reborn’s series is classified as PG, he’s still more than capable of getting the job done. Despite not being seen for the most of the story, Reborn has always been a competent assassin known as “The World’s Strongest Hitman.”
A baby Reborn has the strength and martial arts skills to take on opponents more than twice his size, and he can use his shapeshifting gun Leon to unleash a variety of magical bullets with a wide range of effects, from boosting up his comrades to completely numbing the target’s entire body.
2. Risotto Nero (JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Golden Wind)
One of Passione’s most feared and highly-trained hitmen, Rizzotto Nero was the group’s most powerful assassin. Having been an assassin since he was 18, Risotto must have a large corpse count under his belt after handling the top hitman tasks for a mafia organization. After watching his fight with Doppio, it’s clear to see why this is the case.
Risotto Nero was able to hold his own against the most powerful villain in Passione with both his intellect and combat prowess. Doppio was unable to resist his devastating stand, Metallica, which even put him at risk of losing the match. Due to Risotto’s mastery of iron and magnetism, he can create weapons in midair or even inside his own opponents’ bloodstreams, and he can even make himself invisible to the rest of the world.
3. Himura Kenshin (Rurouni Kenshin)
Kenshin’s life is about trying to live as peacefully as possible, even going so far as using a blade that cannot even cut humans as a means of doing so. Following his rescue at a young age by a great swordsman, Kenshin studied in Hiten Mitsurugi-ry, a peaceful but lethal sword art.
As a result of this, Kenshin became a renowned assassin, even though his master was a peaceful man. Battosai the Slasher received the nickname after murdering more than 100 fighters in his first six months of service. It’s safe to say that Kenshin became an assassin worthy of harsh punishment during the war.
4. Koro-sensei (Assassination Classroom)
Assassination Classroom’s beloved instructor, Koro-sensei, is a hoot to be around. He was able to instill confidence in a bunch of disillusioned students thanks to his unique teaching style, unwavering passion, and tremendous knowledge. He was not always an admirable teacher, nor was Koro-sensei a powerful, tentacled thing to them. At one point in time, “The Reaper” was a famed assassin.
Koro-sensei has earned the respect and dread of his fellow mercenaries for virtually his entire career as a killer. A few government experiments had made him stronger, but he never used it on his own students; instead, he turned that strength on the lab that had torturously abused him.
5. Hassan-I-Sabbah (The Fate Series)
The name Hassan-i-Sabbah is used by a number of different people in the Fate franchise. According to folklore, there are actually nineteen assassins who have been responsible for the deaths of many opponents and manipulating the Middle Eastern political landscape to their own advantage for over a century. A Hassan-i-Sabbah is almost always summoned when an Assassin is summoned for the Holy Grail War.
Since the Hassan i-Sabbah are faceless killers who stick with their guns in the dark, they focus their efforts on the enemy and seem to always go after the masters of the game first. Among the Servants, King Hassan or “Old Man of the Mountain,” the original Hassan-i-Sabbah who began the dark order, possesses both the greatest might and the greatest skill.
6. Akame (Akame Ga Kill!)
It doesn’t matter how adorable Akame is; few people get a second chance to have a proper look at her. Since she was a youngster, Akame has been raised by the Empire and its finest assassins and knows how to take advantage of a situation when it arises. As an assassin before joining Night Raid, Akame had slain a large number of Empire adversaries, earning a reputation as one of the best in the land.

8. Rob Lucci (One Piece)
Every government agency would be happy to have Rob Lucci as an assassin. For years and years he’s kept his mouth shut, cold, dedicated, lethal, and deadly. To be a hitman, Lucci had to be trained by the World Government since he was at least eight years old. He rose through the ranks and eventually became Cipher Pol’s best hitman.
To kill an entire pirate crew and the 500 troops they were holding hostage, Lucci was willing to do it at the age of thirteen. As a brutal and clever assassin, he still has martial arts skills and leopard power to challenge Monkey D. Luffy’s in the current plot.
9. Hei (Darker Than Black)
Hei the Black Reaper is one of the most lethal killers in Darker than Black and a sought-after Contractor. When Hei was in the Syndicate, he had to work long and hard to keep his sister safe, so he learned to be as strong and deadly as his sister Bai.

With all of this power he can short out enormous buildings, ruin large swaths of South America and alter matter.
