Shiki is a 1994 Japanese supernatural horror story set in the little town of Sotoba. 4. The Future Diary
The Future Diary will appeal to fans of Higurashi: When They Cry, Death Note, and Battle Royale. An ordinary high school student’s phone is transformed into a futuristic journal that can see up to 90 days into the future thanks to Yukiteru Amano, a reclusive loner who keeps a diary on his phone. Deus Ex Machina, the God of Space and Time, and his assistant Muru Muru gave him the gift. As a result of this, the deities enroll Yukiteru in a battle royale game in which he must either kill 11 other diary holders like himself or die at their hands.
5. School-Live!
School-Live! isn’t as charming as it appears. As with Higurashi, all hell will break free when They Cry. They are all fighting to escape the horrible zombie apocalypse at Megurigaoka High School, where Yuki Takeya, Kurumi Ebisuzawa, Miki Naoki, and Yuuri Wakasa are all stranded.
6. Puella Magi Madoka Magica
This is a continuation of the style of School-Live! and Higurashi: When They Cry. The magical girl anime genre is turned on its head in Madoka Magica, a lovely but deceptive show. When a mythical cat-like creature named Kyuubey makes a once-in-a-lifetime proposition to Madoka Kaname and Sayaka Miki, their normal middle school lives are turned upside down. For the price of a wish, Kyuubey will transform them into magical girls. Homura Akemi, a magical girl, tells Madoka and Sayaka that this dream come true is actually a horror disguised as a dream.

It is certain that everyone who enters their name into the website will be condemned to spend forever in the hereafter. It is important to note that in exchange for using the Hell Girl’s service, the customer must also give up their afterlife to an eternity in Hell.
9. Paranoia Agent
Paranoia Agent is a psychological thriller about a mysterious assassin that terrorizes a metropolis from the thoughts of the late Satoshi Kon.
