I, for one, am a huge fan of House M.D. and would give anything to be able to watch the entire series over again.

Hugh Laurie starred in this new series, which debuted in 2016 as a straight-to-series release. It tells about the various professional and personal problems that a neuropsychiatric Eldon Chance faces, focusing on the complex and difficult life of a neuropsychiatrist. Chance, a gifted psychoanalyst, is able to discern a person’s hidden issues and determine the best course of action for helping that person.

He falls in love with a complete stranger, Jaclyn, the moment she enters his life. Both she and her abusive ex-husband, a cop, must find a way to save themselves in light of their murky pasts. The series appears to delve deep into the human psyche while Eldon juggles his professional life, which he’s grown bored with, and his divorced wife, who wants to keep Eldon and his teenage daughter apart. Hugh Laurie fans can use this show as a stopgap until they find something better, if you know what I mean.
