1. Sherlock (2010)

Many people are unaware that Gregory House is heavily influenced by Arthur Conan Doyle’s Sherlock Holmes. A drug addict like Sherlock Holmes, House has a similar physical deformity and excels at figuring out connections and dependencies in medical science that others may not be able to see right away or at all. Wilson (Watson in Sherlock’s case) is also a devoted friend who offers emotional support and mental guidance.

As a result, it’s only natural that you’d want to see the original version starring Benedict Cumberbatch after seeing the Hugh Laurie remake. This BBC series takes a look at the brilliant detective’s mind and how it changes over the course of his life. Only four seasons have been better than the previous three. Sherlock is one of those series that, despite having fewer episodes, fans of suspense and thrillers should not skip watching. Not to mention that Dr. House fans will not want to miss this. Cheers.
