Shows Like Hellsing Ultimate

From beginning to end, Hellsing is an exhilarating experience. If you’re looking for books that are similar, take a look at these suggestions.

An organization that aims to rid Cheddar village of vampires has been revealed in the novel Hellsing. Alucard and Seras Victoria are the two main characters in this classic vampire anime. When the world’s vampire population is decimated by Alucard, a ruthless vampire with a handgun, his daughter, Seras Victoria, takes control of her father’s organization, Hellsing, with the goal of eliminating all vampires.

Seras Victoria is killed in the ensuing chaos. But there’s a catch: Hellsing gives the girl the option of becoming a vampire instead of dying. It comes as no surprise that Seras chooses the Hellsing option and begins her new life as one of their members. Both Seras’ and Alucard’s storylines take a new turn in this episode.

Blood, gore, horror, vampires, and suspense are all prevalent themes in Hellsing. Also, there are fantastic anime in the same genres and with the same themes that you may enjoy. The following is a list of them.

1. DEVILMAN CRYBABY (JANUARY 2018)

DEVILMAN CRYBABY (JANUARY 2018)

Devilman Crybaby tells the tale of gullible cry baby Akira Fudou. His best friend, Ryou, drags him to a Sabbath under the guise of investigating the devil’s lair. When demons take control of the Sabbath revelers, all hell breaks loose. Without any means of protection, Akira joins forces with Amon, transforming into The Devilman.

Even though he’s a softy at heart, Akira and Ryou team up to fight the demons who took his innocence from him in the first place.

2. DRIFTERS (OCTOBER 2016- DECEMBER 2016)

During the Battle of Sekigahara in 1600, a Japanese rearguard named Toyohisa Shimazu is shot and killed. A man named Murasaki drags him into a hallway just before he dies. Meanwhile, Toyohisa is made aware of the political unrest caused by the Orte Empire on the other side of the battlefield.

Toyohisa joins the ‘Drifters,’ a group tasked with putting an end to the conflict between the good guys and the bad guys known as the ‘Ends.’ Righteous Drifters are engaged in a battle for freedom with the Ends. Drifters, like Hellsing, is about a group that goes up against the wrongdoers, but vamps are conspicuously absent from the story.

3. TRIGUN (APRIL 1998- SEPTEMBER 1998)

TRIGUN (APRIL 1998- SEPTEMBER 1998)

You have a $60,000,000,000 bounty on your head. What do you call him? The Humanoid Typhoon, otherwise known as the Human Storm. Meet Vash, the anime’s main character and self-proclaimed assassin. In fact, those who dared look him in the eye, let alone those who dared rebel against him, were exterminated by him.

Vash has since transformed into a donut-loving goofball, so there’s a lot of water under the bridge. He and two of his insurance agents visit the fictional planet of Gunsmoke in the television series. Trigunis talks about his struggle with morality and not breaking the law. It has the most resemblance to Hellsing because of the similar plot twists and turns.

4. CLAYMORE (APRIL 2007- SEPTEMBER 2007)

Claymore resembles Hellsing in that both are centered around the extermination of demons. As the defender of Raki’s Village, Clare faces off against Youma, the flesh-eating demon. Claymore is Clare, a half-human/half-youma hybrid. The latter is a shape-shifting demon named Youma, and he has a ravenous appetite for human flesh.

The plot develops to reveal that Claymore’s grandson, Raki, becomes a cannibal after losing his family to the monster. Clare and Youma will be one step closer to a showdown now that each town has been purified of demons. Watch it to be enchanted by the world of Demons and their nemesis.

5. BLADE (JULY 2011- SEPTEMBER 2011)

BLADE (JULY 2011- SEPTEMBER 2011)

A Daywalker (a person who has both vampire and human blood) is the subject of Blade, which tells the story of the man with the same name. Blade’s birth defect was caused by a vampire attack on his mother. In this classic tale of vengeance, Blade spends his days hunting down the vampire who attacked his mother and raped him.

The perfect opportunity to track down the assailant of his mother’s life presents itself to Blade when he is posted to Japan on business. Blade enlists the assistance of a group called ‘Existence’ in order to find him.

6. BLACK LAGOON (APRIL 2006- JUNE 2006)

With no supernatural elements, it’s the furthest away from Hellsing on the list. The gore and action, on the other hand, will satisfy your needs if you liked Hellsing. The story of Rokurou Okajima, a common businessman, is told in Black Lagoon. During an unplanned business trip, he has a breakdown.

Mercenaries from the Black Lagoon organization kidnap Rokurou and use him as fish bait. But Rokurou breaks bad and stays with Black Lagoon as the operation goes downhill.

Rather than focusing on survival, the central themes of Black Lagoon may be more about morality, ethics, and the nature of right and wrong.

7. BLOOD+ (OCTOBER 2005- SEPTEMBER 2006)

BLOOD+ (OCTOBER 2005- SEPTEMBER 2006)

Otonashi Saya, the main character, sees a lot of blood and gore in Blood+. A young woman and her thugs prey on the helpless and defenseless in a similar post-apocalyptic setting. The story is told from the perspective of a young girl named Saya. All of this, of course, is looking backwards.

Saya has no recollection of the end of the world a year after the war. Until a monster attacks her in the middle of the night. The classic horror trope has it that Haji, the creature’s creator, appears out of nowhere to save Saya. Haji, on the other hand, makes her drink his blood because he believes it is the only way to defeat the monsters. So she goes about her business.

Both Saya and Haji are sent on a mission to defeat these monsters, in a manner similar to that of Hellsing. Oh, they’re also members of a group with a similar mission.

8. TRINITY BLOOD (APRIL 2005- OCTOBER 2005)

Trinity Blood takes place in a post-Armageddon world. Vampires and humans are engaged in a bloody conflict that is wreaking havoc across the globe. While the Vatican church is the sole defender of mankind, it is forced to call on its allies on occasion. Abel Nightroad, the main character, is a Vatican priest who is dedicated to his vocation. However, the plot takes a slight turn when we learn that Abel is also a Crusnik, a vampire who feeds on the blood of other vampires.

Trinity Blood and Hellsing have a lot in common. The main character is a vampire who meets a young girl (Esther in this case). With each other by their sides, Abel and Esther set out to find their own way while fending off evil.

9. DEVIL MAY CRY (JUNE 2007- SEPTEMBER 2007)

DEVIL MAY CRY (JUNE 2007- SEPTEMBER 2007)

Based on the video game of the same name, Devil May Cry was created. The anime follows Dante, a half-human, half-human demon who is on a mission to purge society of the evils that come from demonic influences. “Devil May Cry” is Dante’s organization where he seeks to eradicate demons that are a burden on society. Dante’s extermination missions are aided by his two guns, Ebony and Ivory.

There are numerous parallels between Dante and Hellsing, such as the fact that Dante gives up his sword and Alucard gives up his gun. Fantasy, demons, and gore all share common themes in both films. As with Hellsing, Devil May Cry follows the exploits of a complex lead character.

10. BLACK BUTLER (OCTOBER 2008- MARCH 2009)

It’s a dark story about a man who sells his soul to get what he wants. “The Queen’s Guard Dog” is a young boy named Ciel Phantomhive. With the help of his Bulter Sebastian Michaelis, Ciel manages to keep Her Majesty’s empire in check. There’s more to this tale, however. An untold story of vengeance lurks in Ceil’s past. Ciel loses everything and everyone he cares about when he’s a kid. As a result, he bargains with the devil for revenge in exchange for his soul. ‘Phantomhive Corp’ is owned by Ceil Phantomhive, a cold-blooded killer who uses the company as a front for his vengeance schemes.

Demons, Supernatural has an overarching theme similar to Hellsing. However, there’s a perk in that Black Butler can be amusing at times.
