1. K.C. Undercover
After Shake It Upended, Zendaya defied the odds and landed a second Disney series. From 2015 to 2018, K.C. Undercover was active. A high school math genius by day, K.C. Cooper (Zendaya) is a spy by night.
However, Zendaya was able to play a powerful role in a second successful Disney Channel series in a similar premise to The Famous Jett JacksonandHannah Montana.
Earlier this year, Zendaya used her voice-over talents to lend her voice to the titular Yeti in Smallfoot, a movie about a human-hunting creature.
Actors like Channing Tatum, Yara Shahidi, James Corden, Common, LeBron James, and others were in the cast, which included Meechee’s voice.
Zendaya had a good idea of which popular television shows to appear on as she began to leave Disney. She portrayed Resheida in a Black-ish episode titled “Daddy’s Day” that aired in season two.
When she decided to take on this role, she made a smart decision because the show has been and continues to be such an integral part of American popular culture.
4. A.N.T. Farm
On IMDb, A.N.T Farm has an overall rating of 5.0 out of 5 stars, which isn’t great. When Zendaya appeared as a guest star on the Disney Channel show, it did quite well.
It’s one of the best-rated episodes of season two, and she played Sequoia. Zendaya had already started working on Shake it Up at the time of the guest appearance. Consequently, she had a built-in audience to draw attention to her appearance on the episode.
5. Spider-Man: Homecoming
MJ’s journey began with Spider-Man: Homecoming.
It’s a new take on Peter Parker’s adolescent years in Queens for the 2017 film. Michelle/MJ, Zendaya’s Michelle, is a bookworm who prefers to keep to herself.
As Peter’s love interest, she has a smaller role in the first film than she does in the sequel, but she will grow in importance.
6. Spider-man: Far From Home
From her Disney days to her most recent projects, Zendaya’s fans have been following her every step of the way. Spider-Man: Far From Home will see her reprise her role as MJ, Michelle Jones (not Mary Jane), in 2019..
As she and Peter Parker continue to explore their relationship, MJ has a larger role in this film than in the first. A lot of people want to see her back in the role she played in the first film.
7. The Greatest Showman
As a result, Disney’s The Greatest Showman became one of the company’s most talked-about films of 2017. Anne Wheeler (Zendaya) and Phillip Carlyle (Zac Efron) were the stars of the film based on P.T. Barnum’s story.
Zendaya’s most exciting character is Anne, a trapeze artist and acrobat. There’s no better way to show off her musical prowess than in this film.
8. The OA
Zendaya’s most popular TV show is Netflix’sThe OA. After a seven-year absence, a suspicious blind woman named Prairie returns to her senses.
During the final year of the show, Fola, a gamer, was Zendaya’s character, and she appeared in three episodes.
9. Good Luck Charlie
Good Luck Charlie’s episode starring Zendaya has a higher IMDb rating than the show as a whole. Fans of the Disney Channel are probably to blame for this. “Charlie Shakes It Up” is a great title, and many people enjoy seeing CeCe and Rocky with Teddy, Rocky, and the rest of the Duncans.
That’s So Suite Life of Hannah Montana” (a compilation of That’s So Raven, The Suite Life of Zack and Cody, and Hannah Montana) proved Disney’s early crossovers would work.
On HBO’s Euphoria, Zendaya portrays Rue Bennett.
Even though Euphoriais still about high school students, the fact that the show is on HBO indicates that it will be very different from the actor’s Disney work.
This group of kids isn’t interested in singing and dancing all day long, but rather in sex and drug use. Zendaya’s younger fans may not enjoy this film, but those who have known her for a long time may appreciate her handling of more mature material. You can’t help but be impressed by this young woman’s acting abilities when you take a look back at all of the roles she has played.
