Biography

Rebecca Pitcher

Rebecca Pitcher (Christine Daae) returns as Christine after having performed the role on national tour. Rebecca has been praised for performances in roles such as Johanna in Sweeney Todd, Gretel in Hansel and Gretel and Adina in The Elixir of Love. In addition to her operatic and theatrical performances, Rebecca has appeared as a soloist in works such as Carmina Burana and The Mozart Requiem. She graduated with a BM from Baldwin Wallace College and a GPD from the Peabody Institute. She is also an alumna of the Pittsburgh Opera Center at Duquesene, where she performed Papagena in The Magic Flute and Mary Warren in The Crucible. Thanks to her family and friends for their support, especially her husband Patrick.
