Set to the magnificent music of Tchaikovsky, The Sleeping Beauty on Ice tells the classic fairytale love story through sublime world class skating, breathtaking high speed lifts and throws, awe-inspiring aerial gymnastics, stilt skating and fire effects – all in the intimacy of the Tented Ice Palace.

The thrilling production features a 23-strong cast of Olympic, World, European and National Championship skaters, with choreography by former World Champion and Olympic medallist Ilia Averbukh and award-winning Tony Mercer, widely regarded as the world’s leading creator of theatre on ice.  

The Sleeping Beauty on Ice is performed on a 15m x 13m theatre stage with a surface of real ice, complete with full theatrical lighting and lavish sets designed by Eamon D'Arcy, one of Australia's top scenic designers.  The company dazzles in more than 100 stunning costumes from renowned Russian costume designer Natella Abdulaeva.

The Imperial Ice Stars’ Tented Ice Palace

The Tented Ice Palace is the ultimate in luxury.  It encompasses an entrance foyer, a spacious Ice Bar and the theatre marquee, with connecting lavatory marquees.

The Tented Ice Palace is carpeted throughout, with bespoke chandeliers and cushioned seats in the theatre.  Regardless of the weather you will be air-conditioned to the perfect temperature. Outside, you will be able to enjoy the Tented Ice Palace Garden.
