The Ice Factor, York’s open air ice rink, returns to the city for a third season in November 2007.  Having entertained over 40,000 visitors in 2006, The Ice Factor and The Ice Bar & Café are once again going to be the talked about event of the Christmas period and we want your company to be part of the action!

Set against the spectacular backdrop of Clifford’s Tower in the centre of York, The Ice Factor is a unique Christmas attraction for all ages and abilities. It encompasses a picturesque 600 square metre ice rink centred round the illuminated oak tree in the Eye of York, a viewing area, a heated bar and café, and skate hire marquee.

Minster FM’s renowned DJs will be creating special compilations of music to get the party going and the skates tapping and gliding.  A private DJ can be hired also if you want to make the party that little bit more special!

The Ice Factor is not just an ice rink! A heated rinkside bar and café is open to the public with free admission so you can watch the fun outside. Hot and cold food can be purchased, as well as a range of drinks, from a mug of hot chocolate to mulled wine to vodka mixers, helping to chase those chills away and make the most of your visit.
